With over 22 years of experience in the motor trade, mechanics has been a lifelong passion. 

I was the workshop manager at the garage before taking it over in 2021 when Howden Automotive was established.

This allowed me to develop the garage into one which is known for not only looking after customer vehicles but for having an honest and knowledgeable approach,  meaning your vehicle will be in safe hands.

I have always had a passion for cars, bikes, and all things with a motor! After leaving school I went to Bishop Auckland College and studied for my NVQ in motor mechanics. I qualified and got my first job working at a local garage in my hometown. I later went on to become an MOT tester and motor mechanic at a long standing garage in Northumberland where I worked for 14 years.

My journey then took me to where I am now, where I will continue to use my wealth of experience to service and repair all kinds of vehicles for the people of the North East.
